The Daewoo Kalos is a subcompact car built by GM Daewoo, a South Korean subsidiary of General Motors. The name is used for the original version of this car is sold in its market, but there are also many other names under which versions of this vehicle is sold.

The Kalos is based on the "Daewoo Flex" concept in advance of the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2001 and was called by Giorgetto Giugiaro. U.S. and Canada

From 2007 model year T200 Aveo Hatchback has been renamed Aveo5 in the USA, in accordance with the naming scheme used by GM Canada (where the gate T200 has always been called Aveo5).
